Golf Tips For Beginners - 2/14/09

by John J Thompson

These golf tips for beginners will help you out if your just getting started playing golf. Remember that any sport can have a learning curve so do not stress it if things do not go as planned as soon as you start playing.

I will go ahead and tell you that golf is one of the games that requires the most skill of them all. This is great because it gives you a chance to truely master and outshine your peers in the game! With that being said lets go ahead and go over 3 powerful golf tips for beginners that you need to know!

- The grip is important! Sure it might not seem to be important but it is! Hold the club and make sure the club head is lying down on the ground. When you close your first your club should be held with your first two fingers and palm.

- Your stance is also very important. Make sure your feet are shoulder width apart. This is known as the square stance and is a great way to get started.

- Last your golf swing is really important for beginners! You didn't see that coming did you? Ok so you need to start the backswing with your back and shoulder muscles mainly. When you go back to swing you need to shift your weight to your right foot for balance. Once you have around 90% of your weight on your backfoot you should release.

Ok so I know these directions were a little vague and I advise you to check out my bio box below for a free guide. I hope this short little guide has helped you see the 3 powerful golf tips for beginners that you need to use!
